If you have a cough or cold (or not feeling well), reschedule to when you are feeling better. Having a massage is similar to a light work-out for your body. The best thing you can do is reduce the stress placed on your body and let it recover quicker.
Lying down for your treatment can cause some discomfort when you ate a large meal before massage. Try to have a small snack instead before your massage appointment.
Relax. You will get the most from your massage if you allow yourself to check out of your daily demands as long as you are on my massage table.
